The question for me was whether it was because it was pulling the voltage down (we learned this wasnt the case) or it wasnt spinning the engine fast enough to build pressure and clear out the air, not to mention actually have it fire off. It's been working lately, but has always had a bit of a long crank in my opinion, so the air plus the bigger injectors that must be pressurized, along with the fact that we had to use it to crank the engine over for an extended period to clear the oil probably was just too much for a tired starter.
