Valve issues

How big of a deal is this on the 11's? Is there certain build dates to stay away from. A guy that works at the local ford dealer said to steer clear of 11's and just buy a 12. But there are a ton of 11's out there for sale.

I would agree stay away from 11s they had tons of valve issues

its common enough. if you must have an 11, find a truck built in 11, the chances are less it seems.

i personally would look for a 12

I forgot the build dates.. My truck fell under that category. So I had them replace the valves under that particular TSB. 168K and still kicking.
