I will be doing my valve springs soon,so Im looking for who makes the best compressor tool .
I like the ford tool alot over the autozone ones but there $$
You can rent them at AutoZone. It is just a deposit, so you get your money back when you bring it back in.
No I know that but I was saying I like the ford tool over the auto zone ones but the ford tool is expensive.
I bought one at napa, works good.
never had to jack the motor
Did you have to mod the tool at all?

Rotunda PN 303-483
Ford PN T94T-6513-AH
This is the one I've used, haven't used any of the others to compare. It came in the Rotunda 7.3 special tools kit. Worked like a champ compressing the factory springs. Needed to use a longer bolt to compress the WOP/Crower springs, as they're a bit taller than the factory ones.
What other tools are in the kit? Can you get a close up pic on the compressor tool? Looks like a pretty good set you got there?
