Ventilated seats

Has anyone retrofitted some late model vented seats into an older body? I realize the late model ones are controlled by the hvac system, but it only has 2 speeds so it seems like it'd be easy enough to do once you know what the voltage reqs are.
My seats need covers and 100* days are making me want some cool air on my backside.
