Vgt question

So here is a picture of the vgt port.

Is other suppose to be movement with a magnet? Should it move freely?

I have a nice boost situation and I also replaced the vgt with a new updated one. I have a 2004 f350 6.0

Did you replace the solenoid that goes there? usually thats not the problem, the problem more then likely is the veins are seized up and need cleaned.
