Water in fuel indicator

Hey guys. The light popped on informing me about the water in the fuel. I un-threaded the bolt on the bottom of the HFCM to release the water. Of course fuel was coming out too. My question is how do I know when enough is enough?

I would just drain it all and replace the fuel water separator.
