I am in the process of replacing my water pump and this is what i found when i took it off. Will i be okay to put a new pump in like it is? Or should i be looking into a new front cover?

If the engine is in the truck, I'd run it. If the engine is on the stand, I'd change it.

There are no decent used ones... When they were on back order customers were bringing us a few used ones and we told them we would not install them.

As far as back order, that should be fulfilled by now. We ordered 6 in Nov, just got em in in January

We do have a couple new OEM 5C3Z-6608-B front cover kits currently in stock if someone needs one. This is the 2005 and up style cover withthe lower hose outlet at the 3 oclock position, but can be used on 2003-2004 trucks with the corect water pump(03) and lower hose
