Water temp

How hot is too hot (water temp wise) for the 7.3 before any damage would occur or puke the coolant?

Just curious with the temps close to 100° here. Pulling a big trailer up a long, 7% grade will the 7.3 overheat.

Mine is still bone stock as I have not done the updates yet. When I pull my horse trailer up in the Big Horn mountains I have seen the water temp as high as 235* with no problems.

With a 15# cap, you'll be at 245* before the water will boil off, assuming the cap is working.
