Went to the dump today and was wondering if the scale was right.

06 super cab shirt bed, 4x4 scale said 7680#
Does that sound right? I figured the truck to be around 8500#

That sounds right. My 08 CCSB is around 8100

These leakers are like feathers compared to my old 7.3 then. That thing was a porker, iirc the door sticker was well over 9k.

I bet that's pretty accurate, I have the same truck and I was maybe a little more than 100lbs heavier.

According to the scale at the landfill, my '00 regular cab short bed 2wd 7.3 truck is 6300 lbs with 1/4 tank of diesel and my 200 and change ass inside. I couldn't believe it. Well, I figured it was right at 6k, but sheesh. Just as much as a ccsb duramax 2wd lol.

My CCSB 06 SRW 4wd auto weighs right at 7,900#. My 02 7.3 CCLB DRW manual4wd weighs 7,800#

08 4wd PSD, CCSB Auto, 1/2 tank fuel, stock bumpers, 2-infinity 10's, empty bed, me and the old lady was 8600 on the scales.

The 08's are the heaviest of the bunch from what I can tell.

I figure the 05-07 SC/SB trucks are in the 7600lb range. The 7.3 trucks are even lighter.

I'd say that weight measurement was pretty damn accurate.
