For about a year or 2, my ealy 03 6.0 has leaked 1 or 2 drops of oil off my bellhousing every time it's parked.
It never seemed like motor oil, it was clear and black, like a clear oil heavily contaminated.
Took care of all the usual suspects, ICP etc etc to no avail.
Weird thing is, it hasn't dripped in a few months, and thinking back, ever since I recharged the A/C with straight r134a (no additives).
Anyone else experience something like this? I can't seem to wrap my brain around the concept, talked to a fee mechanics, and the other day even talked to an A/C guy who couldn't make sense of it.
Either way, A/C is cold and truck stopped leaking, so I'm not complaining. Just curious....
