What do you think of this surface finish?

Just as the title says. Is this block clean up goo enough. Or should more work be put into it. I still need to clean up the bores, water jackets, and bolt holes yet. Thanks psa.

What did you use? It appears you have removed the stains, which is not suppose to happen.

Stain remover?

I used the motorcraft gasket remover and a plastic scraper, then lapped the block with a 12" flatstone like mr Lott uses.
