Have a fuel leak on my 7.3 and I'm dumb when it comes to diesels not new to wrenching just diesels! It's leaking where the plastic meets the metal looks like a fuel pressure switch but wanna be sure! I'm pointing to it in both pictures!

purpleheart350,

The early OBS trucks had it on the back side of the fuel bowl near the bottom, between the two hose barbs. The later OBS trucks had it moved to where it is in the picture. Cheers!

Gotcha the FPR in mine is from a 97, because I broke the feed line going to it on my original one. Mine had a black cap which had the filter and the 97 has a brass plate with I hole that I had to modify a little bit but it works so can't complain

Good to know thanks! All fixed no more leak. Well at least from there

Watch your fuel pump. Its just below the turbo pretty much. In the valley. Its cam driven. They go bad and usually start leaking out either the banjo bolt or the weep hole. Mine went at 140k. Just though Ide let you know.
