In December i bought my bane of of existence 6.4 powerstroke crewcab long box. With a trashed engine. Ive replaced that engine with a low mileage take. We removed the heads put new valves and valves seats. ARP head studs with diamond gaskets from rudys diesel. Next removed the EGR coolers and *** and rrplaced the entire system with an AFE atlas full exhast with there down pipe. Stage 2 AFE cold air intake. New HiD lights and an autopumpkin in dash nav.
The story goes and us quite sad, the lift pump went out do to trash from a filter coming apart. Wiped it out replaced the lift pump with a new OEM part. Started funy when i picked it up the truck died again. Coded low rail pressure and the local ford garage installed a new HPFP from ford and said im good. They obviously are not good at diesel repair cause it made only a block tgen dies will not start. Making a long sad story short. The 4k i spent with these tards was wasted cause it still wasnt running and after inspected it i found chunks of metal in tank amd there new filter. They said tgey did nothing wrong and I threatened to sue them if they didnt at least stand behind there work They said they said get the F out were dine with your truck.
I took the truck to a larger and better dealer. They wouldnt warranty any if the pump or labor due to workmanship. So i payed another 7200 to have my entire fuel system. Now i have an 2 year unlimted warranty.
What should i do next?? I inow i need a better tuner than what igot. That ***R isnt very good. Should i be looking into tunner and new turbo wheels? Im not jeopardizing this 7200$fuel system i guess basically im looking for what do next. Ill find a descent tunner but after that what can i do to achieve more street performance and not sacrifice reliability. And what kinda power levels.
And can any one tell be if theres a difference between the engine i had in there vs the one i pulled out of that f550?
