There are a couple different tuner categories. There is a chip, and there is a programmer. The chip installs directly on the PCM and is switch-on-the-fly. The programmer plugs into the OBDII port and flashes the PCM. It is not switch on the fly. There are advantages to each of them.

We carry a handful of different options. Check it out HERE.

Let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to help you out.

What are the advantages between them? I have the f6.

The advantage of the chip is that it can switch tunes on the fly, whereas with a programmer, the engine must be shut off to change tunes.

The advantage of the programmer is that they offer diagnostic capabilities as well. Read/clear codes, monitor live data, etc.
