Backspace is 4.5in if you have factory wheels. Pretty sure you have to do a minimum of 2" to clear the studs. And if you do that 2" it will probably rub on the inner fender well

i have aftermarket ford racing wheels, and where could i measure from to get the back space? and it only rubs on one side and i think one thing that could be causing that is because a few years back we hit a 250lb bear on that side so i think that something could be bent or out of line on that side, but anyway, with 2 inches would it rub on the front or back of the fender well and could it be trimmed down to not rub?

i think most only rub on one side. Not sure where exactly you measure from to find the backspace besides the mounting surface. it may rub on the rear fender well and possibly the bottom corner of the front bumper
