I am tearing my truck down again to go bigger. I'm currently running out of oil pressure with my injectors and hoping to find a good pump set up. Should I run my stock hpop with an external helper or what? Any advice would be helpful.

Thumper pump duals are unreliable and have the chance to leak everywhere

The OP has an '04....thumper pump won't work on it unless its a late '04 I think.

Mine is a late 04 and I don't think the thumper will work.

Yeah I wasn't sure if that late '04's had the newer style pump that the '05-07's have.

If your gonna tear it down anyway...if the cab is off it's easy to swing the motor out, pull the rear cover and change the branch tubes to the 05 style and run a thumper...or pull the motor if the cab isn't off and change over...then throw a cam in while you're there, if you don't have one already.
