In the past most have said keep it under 40 psi to avoid spring issues but it's not 40 psi of manifold pressure that likely floats valves it is likey the 60-70 psi on the exhaust side from running small turbines and restricted housings like the 38R. Keep torque low enough to keep CP in check and stock bolts have already been proven to hold the gaskets tight at 500hp. Granted it's all the roll of the dice. If I had endless funds pressure transducers to aid in tuning and my own dyno would be wonderful tools to have. I just use feel and sound and maybe some small datalogging to aid when I tune.
