Will 08 mirrors fit my f250 01

I asked this in the tow forum before I sure of the mirror I wanted so sorry for the double post. I found the 08 kool view mirror...I'm about to order but before I do, will these mirrors fit my 01?

yes, only 1 small little tab to grind off, and they bolt right on.

What is the memory function? As they are going on my 01 I don't think some functions like Heater will work... Someone explain memory, is it just after you adjust is for a temporary condition you push a button and it goes back to your normal preset? Pretty sure I don't need this function as I don't think it's stock on my truck

On the back side of the mirror, if you don't grind the tab off, they will still bolt on, but they will not lay flat like they are supposed to.
