OK one day this week, after it had snowed here, I turned on my wipers after clearing the snow away, and after about two swipes, the wipers quit and would not work.

Today, I checked and sure enough I pulled the number 10 fuse, and it was blown. So I went to Auto Store and I bought a pair of replacement fuses. I replaced the fuse under the dash with a new 30 amp fuse, turned on the wipers, it did a short stroke then died again! Fuse blew again!

So, if I have a short... WHERE DO I BEGIN LOOKING?

(I hate electrical problems!)

PLEASE HELP ME? Thanks!

Thanks for offer to fix my wiper issue!

Start at the motor itself...

I needed a good F-250 Mechanic in WV last summer! I was moving from Michigan to Virginia (Alexandria) and on the way, had the rear axle seal fail on the driver's side, and the driver's side upper and lower ball joints, and the4 driver's side wheel races and bearings all replaced!

Had to spend an overnight at Motel in Keyser (where the FORD dealer was a real jerk! I got more help from the Advance Auto Parts guys!) the Motel stay cost me $100.00 plus! Was an expensive move! I did get to see a truck buddy of mine in Weston, and got to ride in his hotrod '55 Chevy Stepside!

Going from having a fully stocked friend's garage to work in (in MICH) to NO garage and no mechanic friends here (in VA) really blows!

And now having to work in the cold --- ahh yep I would love to have you fix it!

But as a retired old fart, I don't have a lot of extra cash to up and drive to WV and have you fix it!

I am sure you would treat me fairly.

Going to have to try and figure this one out and do it on the cheap if possible. Hopefully the problem is simple and not like the GEM! Yikes!

Finding a bad connector, relay or short somewhere may take me a while, but that is where I need to begin.

You all are being extremely helpful, if anyone has had this before, post what you found it to be.

Thanks!
