bought a 03 6.0 4wd at auction for a steal. knew the guy who ran it and he said it was running fluid out the exhaust and wasnt running. so i figured egr cooler and head gaskets blah blah
But it was stored for a while and had mice in it. only had 2 bad spots with the wiring under the hood that i fixed and nothing under the dash.
Problem is the computer doesnt know when the key is turned on. so like when you plug a tuner in it and it say turn key on and you do it it never registers that the key was turned. Also the injectors never buzz when the key is turned. but the dash lights up and it will turn the starter. I dont really have time right now to really dig into it and was wondering if anyone knew a good place to start. if it turns into a major problem im just going to part out the motor and use it as my new drag truck.
