WOT wont shift past second

So I sometimes like to hear my turbo whistle with my screaming 5in exhaust.
And the only down fall is when I do that the trans just shifts down to first then hits second kinda hard then wont shift from second tell I let way off the go fast pedal. Its shift just fine if I keep it under 3k rpms. This evening I got it to go to 4k.
Could the bully dog have something to do with it?

Thank s jn advance for the fees back. I understand the 4r100 trans well. Never been into a torqueshift.

The bully dog could be the whole problem. Remove it and see if the problem is fixed.

When I first got my SCT years ago it would do that on my Looney too. Not just second. Whatever gear it would hang and bounce on the rec limiter. Got the tune adjusted and all was good.
