How to remove y pipes without dropping transmission

Drain about 2 gallons from radiator
remove degas bottle
remove air intake
remove turbo feed line
disconnect downpipe and up-pipe from turbo
remove turbo mounting bolts
remove turbo
remove turbo oil drain tube
remove turbo pedestal
remove any heat shields at back of motor
If you want extra space, remove FICM
unbolt the up-pipes from the manifolds and pull it up over the motor.
