Yeah that's would help for sure.
When I installed my transmission this summer, I just used a mirror to see the flexplate and holes in the torque converter, and went in the side inspection cover again...couldn't do it from the from, as the whole front end would of had to come off to see down the...
Got to the point where I was able to start my truck today! Hasn't run since last August!
The other truck I bought needs a new oil cooler, so I have to move my truck out, so I can bring in the other one to do the repair. (My Son's '72 Buick GS is in the other bay.)
That's the only thing left to...
Another vote for the Bilstein 5100's.
I run them on my '03 KR, and the '04 KR I have been working on.
I went with the stock to +2" height shocks.
And at about $400/complete set, they are hard to pass up.
Zero progress on this situation.
Truck is still up on jacks.
I was busy before...and then I bought another King Ranch that was a theft recovery....and now I don't have time for anything any more.
I never would have thought that life would get so busy that the things I like to do, would actually...
Good afternoon Sean,
Could I order the following items for a 2004 King Ranch F350 ccsb 4x4:
All three rear bumper plastic trim pieces in Arizona beige.
I believe the PN's are:
3C3Z-17B807-AAA (right side)
3C3Z-17B807-AAB (left side)
XL3Z-17B807-AB (bottom step/hitch ball piece)
The Bullet Proof water pump is one of the BEST upgrades a person can possibly do to the cooling system of their truck.
Once you buy it, and have the stock pump in hand...you will wonder why TF Ford used plastic impeller blades on a pump.
Mine were cracked, and iirc three were broken off at the tips.
I bought a 2004 the other day, and both signals are broken on the King Ranch mirrors.
I ordered a set of these for my 2003 King Ranch, but couldn't remember from where...
My post in here was from 2015.
And now I'm looking to buy another set for my other KR. Lol
I think the best MPG tune is a high hp tune, and a light right foot.
The less swapping of files you do, the more your engine and transmission will love you...start swapping tunes every day, and one of them will tell you to FO.
I will have to get back to you on that.
I bought another truck, site unseen more or less, and was trying to get parts coming before it gets delivered, so I had the parts to fix it.
Was told it needed the rear brake line, and saw that the driver's front seat was destroyed. (Ripped beyond repair.)
I had a look at pictures of a King Ranch truck for sale...
Guy said it was a 2003.
I own a 2003 King Ranch, and thought I knew the difference between the two years.
His has the keypad on the driver's door. (Thought this was an '04 thing)
His has adjustable headrests on the back rear seats...
