    Actually the efr has had durability issues on diesel applications. The gamma-ti turbine wheels won't support the extreme shaft speeds seen in high boost applications like a conventional s300 or s400 will.

    I think it's going to work really well on the 7.3 trucks, at least for a hot street application. May be worth it to pay the little bit extra for the 1.0 housing too

    H&S wastegate

    If it's tuned right it should only open at wide open throttle. Amd by the time it does, the truck should be at full boost amd running clean. Had mine for 10,000+ miles amd the undercarriage was clean of soot.

    Thanks for the mention Derek. On the 6.0 platform I'd definitely go to the smaller 68mm turbine. Whole the 70mm works well for some heavier fueled 6.0 trucks, the 68mm with a .83 or .91 should drive and tow really well with the right tune. You'd have the option to go to a 62 or 64.5 fmw compressors.

    That's is definitely odd and way short of what those injectors and turbo should be capable of. Maybe KC is onto something with the VGT no longer being used, maybe the PCM is seeing something from the VGT that's telling it to pull fuel
