Tig or mig on upipes?

Mig will be just fine. Wont look as nice but will be plenty strong. Pickup a small roll of SS mig wire and use 100 argon if you CAN and you will be good to go. Keep in mind I have welded plenty of SS pipe together with plan old shield mig wire with out any issues. Will rust over time but thats it.

Want to put a zf-6 in my excursion..

You will have to make your own trans tunnel. Belive it or not they are smaller the the SD trans tunnel. I was going to do a ZF-6 behind my 12v that is my X but after the whole trans tunnel thing I decide to go with a PCS and 4r100. The clutch/brake pedals will work out of a SD. If it wasnt...

Yes Yes I did. Worked out side all weekend sun up to sun down(not all the time was spent on this project) :( I live in Moundsview and my brother place is in Elk River area. How about your self? Will do the only reason he has a hoist is to change oil.:doh::doh: I'm not complaining.

Wayne What yr and how much are you looking to spend? I know where there is a clean v10 2001 with a engine knock for sale. He is asking 2500 but I bet you could get it for less. Its in MN so shipping or towing it home wouldnt be that bad. Heck the guy was asking 3 for mine and I got it for 1500.

What are you using for electric fans? I keep going back and fourth about leaving stock drive train lengths and going e-fan or length/shorten and go mech fan.
