2 3/4" grade 8 bolts. Left about 1/4" slop between them and the bolts. If I did it alot I would just make up some pins for them but I dont. -

What Do You Tow?
I have towed way to many six blows home on a trailer and this pulled 10x better. The only thing I was worried about was not having breaks but it seemed to do fine. When semi's would pass me(kept the speed around 65mph) it got a little sketch but other then that it went really well. -

Made it. Took me about an hr with scrap steel I laying around. I used my truck to mock it up so I knew it would fit when I got there. -

Thought I would add a little update to this thread. I had to tow a X home yesterday with a blown motor. 90 total miles and it pulled way nicer then I would have thought. How did it pull? Anything you would do different if you had todo it again? I looked at a 08 truck that was 1000 miles away and thought about towing it the same way. Ended up not buying it but still was wondering if it would have worked. -
Pole building in MN
I think thats going to be to small for me as well. Really need atleast 12ft door as my camper and boat are just under 11 tall. I have the plans all drawn up for a 40x60x16 and a material list configured all I need todo after the 1st of the yr is walk in to Menard and order it. Good luck with...- TurboM700
