I picked up a set of cab and chassis rear springs(11 leaf + overload) the other day to replace my shot 5 leaf + overload spring pack. My stock suspensions block had the bump stop built in. The cab and chassis springs didnt have a bump stop.

Do i need to have a bump stop with this set up in the form of a block or do i need to get a longer stock block?

My parts guy at Ford said there are 3 rear spring set ups, 2wd uses no block, f-250 4wd uses a 2 inch block and the f-350 uses a 4 inch block. FWIW

Spring width for f-250 and f-350 are all the same number of leaves are the only difference. I also noticed that the nub on the overload spacer are different between the cab and chassis and 1ton.

If I'm not mistaking, isn't the cab and chassis springs shorter by a few inches. I know on the 08 and up models they are. Maybe someone can clarify
