Running down the road it’ll take a couple miles and the traction control light comes on, drive a few more miles and it goes off then doesn’t come back on until the next key cycle.
Code being set is C1B00:63 steering angle sensor: circuit/component protection timeout. Replaced the steering angle sensor and also replaced the track bar ballpoint because it was really loose. Didn’t find any procedure to calibrate the new sensor and have replaced several of these before with no issues. Steering wheel angle PID never drops out or goes haywire when code sets. Considered replacing the steering column control module but it’s over $400 and it would be a complete guess at a fix.
Anyone ever dealt with this code?
