That'll buff out!!

On more serious not, that sucks. The bumper must be made out of light (thin) steel. Sorry to hear that happened Tom.
The bumpers on these trucks are junk. I replaced the one on my last truck, but it was a nightmare dealing with freight shipping and shitty companies, so I've been putting it off, which now I'm gonna pay for it since now instead of scratches on the bumper I have a crushed bed and bumper.

These fuckin bumpers are so crappy I can lean my thigh into them and contact the bed.

Well, that does sound like there built light. Most likely all in the name of saving weight and money. What a joke!

What goods a bumper of it can't take the bump? It's there to protect and serve.

I bet they did not even hit you that hard.

I'm still having a hard time swallowing how light duty the bumper is.

I was thinking about mounting one on the OBS. Well if there that light, forget it.

I think that's the worst part. I knew it. Replaced the tin crap on my last truck for that reason. Been procrastinating like a MF because of all the trouble it was last time.

And now I need body work and a new bumper. All because some fucktard kid in a Beemer was fuckin around in a snowstorm.

If I can pull it off I'm going to try and get one of these 2 bumpers to replace the Ford tin can one.

They say hindsight is 20-20. I have been there and done that kind of thing myself. Hold off on something that you know you should do, just to have it come back and vote you later.

His joy rid ended with a without any joy involved. Hopefully he learned something.

The firs link is the stronger of the two bumpers. They both seem like.nice bumpers. Hope it works out for you. As long as a new from ford factory bumper costs more you should be fine getting the aftermarket one through Insurance.

FWIW - I have a Fab Fours rear bumper on my truck.

The first one showed up with the mounting brackets welded crooked and one side 1/2" higher than the other, which I didn't catch before fighting like a SOB to get body-lines correct (con).

Documented the issue with some crude triangulation pictures, and Fab Four sent a replacement out immediately along with a return label for the old bumper (pro).

I haven't been corn-holed by any Bimmers, but I feel it's up to the task should the occasion arise.
