Truck/mods in my sig, i currently have 4.10 gears and 33" tires. My truck spends most of the time on the street as my DD, but it also spends a good bit of time on the farm hooked to hopper wagons and hay wagons, as well as hooked to trailers towing all sorts of stuff. Also starting to get into pulling, and hoping to get into racing.

What i'm trying to figure out is whether or not i should swap both axles for another set i've got. TTB front still, but they are off a clean 97, with 90k miles. So they have no oil leaks and are extremely clean. Whereas my truck has 208k miles, i know the rear-end needs seals, and they are far from clean. LOL

So would the 3.55's work alright with my set-up, or would they be too tall? I've got 0 experience with em so i'm not sure how they act on the road.

One of my 97's has 4:10's and I can't stand it on the highway, nor for pulling. I'll be swapping it to 3:73's soon.

I wouldn't hesitate to install the 3.55 axles. You'll be fine.
