airdog raptor 150 kit just not working

Hey all factory pump was getting weak so i figured I'd order a raptor 150 as everyone said they were pretty good. However after I hook everything up like it says with no fuel return it just runs out the factory lift pump where I bypassed and went to the fuel in to engine. This does not make sense you must have a fuel return... am I missing something here? Or is the raptor just like a helper that boosts and pushs the fuel through the factory lift pump? Even if that's the case when I do it that way it still won't hook up because I'm left with 2 male ends. I could always cut the end fitting off the hose, slide it on to the fuel in on the factory pump and put a clamp on it, please I need some help trucks been parked for days and I need it back asap! ! Thanks so much. Overall very disappointed with this kit

Money is the issue. Only reason why I bought the raptor was because I was tight on cash and looking back on it now wish I wouldn't have... now I'm stuck with it. I guess what I'm gonna do for now is bypass the factory lift pump and add in a piece of hose to make the return line work again. How bad would it be to run it with just the raptor and filter on top of the motor? Maybe I could add an inline filter? Just really frustrated with this kit right now called airdog and got no help also called through bread diesel and also got no help. And c Knox 12 did you used to be on the Silverado fourms? Red z71 II believe? Anyways I love my 6.4 if it would quit giving me problems.. Got rid of my LLY d max for this
