Long story short the centering pin from my block sheared off flush in the spring perch on the axle, what'd be the quickest way to get it out?

I'd probably drill a hole in it and either use an extractor or hammer in one of my chitty torx sockets to twist it out

I'd drill it and then it will be ready for new pin your pressing back in there
then even if it was a cast block with the pin as part of the casting you would be set

I would honestly consider replacing the block. Its gonna be hard to get the old one out and a new one in that would stay in place properly.
