I’m going to delete my 2009 6.4 egr and need to know which delete kit is best. Isn’t there a weak spot after taking off the coolers and related hardware? Is it related to piping or the turbos? I don’t want to find the next weak link. Do any of the egr delete kits address this issue?

Your "weak link" is going to be the head gaskets. If the engine is running fine, DON'T mess with it. The added boost will cause failing head gasket(s) (head bolts weren't engineered for the modification), leading to overpressurized cooling system, leading to coolant from the reservoir cap (causing a huge mess), (and if the head gaskets aren't replaced) cracked heads.
Believe me.

BTW, the recommended head studs are around $650 at the present time. That's just the studs. It's a costly ordeal, even if you do everything before any issues arise.

I’m not looking for power, just a straight delete. My 09 recently got a new high pressure pump and injectors. This is my third pump and third egr valve. I just want to delete the egr. I’ve seen were some leave the horizontal cooler in place to support the rear up pipe. I wish someone would post pics of this. I also got sick of cleaning the dpf. I found a used factory cat and dpf and hollowed them out. I just need a egr delete kit and a delete tune.

Easiest thing to do is to the remove the egr crossover pipe and put the block off plate directly on the passenger side up pipe. Then remove the bung for the ebp tube, drill and tap the plate and screw in the bung. Then bend the ebp tube so that it’ll bolt down on the top rearmost valve cover bolt. You’ll have to get a stud and swap out the bolt.
