Wasn't sure where to put this post, so if its not in the correct forum, go ahead and let me know.

But just noticed this damage on my fender flare and I've never done any paint, etc. So I'm curious if you guys had suggestions or what options I had to take care of this? I'd prefer to stick with these flares.

Its just a scuff but it won't buff out so not sure what to do.

Only option I can think of is go to a body shop, see if they can color match and re-spray it.

sent while swerving into the wrong lane...

Does it actually go into the paint or is it a scuff from some plastic or something? It doesn't look like it's in the from the picture and you may be able to wax it off. Run your fingernail over it and see if it feels like its on the clear or scratched into it....?

600 grit sandpaper if its scratched through the clear coat and get it painted color matched. If not take it off, send it to a body shop and have them doit! Good to go

It doesn't feel like it goes into the paint but I'm not an expert by any means. I'll try some wax this weekend. Any special type or just general car wax?

Go to your local car parts store and pick up some polishing compound and give it a shot by hand.

Just to post it.
I have liked 3M 39009 compound for stuff like this. Has never let me down.
Either with a machine or by hand.
