Icon shock install advice

Any advice on a driveway install for front piggyback icons? They are impossible to compress, are others just jacking up and letting the axle droop to get these in?

I installed the top first, then used a floor jack to compress the shock into the lower mount.

I installed the ones on my 08 by bolting in the bottom and wrapping a ratcheting tie down around the body/resi and hooking it to my 4-link. Ratchet the tie down and it will compress the shock and then you can move the top around till its in place.

WHS^^ It is impossible to do it without ratchet straps.

usually use the floor jack idea, although straps sounds like a good one as well
