That's pretty sweet... The military hitch (pintle hitch) is similar on the larger, commercial vehicles. They are capable of rotating 360 degrees on the vehicle end. It's a great idea, but like he ^ said, probably not going to pass DOT regs.

Doesn't seem much easier than a tradition ball style to me . . . plus if you can pull your trailer up the the hitch to center it like he did, a ball isn't going to be any more difficult, lol.

I've seen this style on the Jeep forums before that are legal here in the states. For out trucks, not much benefit, but for the guys that use offroad trailers like Jeeps and such, they are a great thing to have.
