I've got a 2008 f250 ccsb lariat that is my daily as well as my construction truck for my business. I bought the truck with 15,xxx original miles and it seemed fine with regards to suspension. What I found towing even 3-4k it sagged pretty good as there was no overloads on it. So I bought a set of timbrens for it, when I installed them they sit on the block tabs on the bottom with even no load. When I put a load on or pull the trailer with a load it rides perfect and level, but when unloaded it rides really rough. I'd like to get the factory ride back and have considered removing the timbrens but don't want to stare at the hood while towing. I've thought about airbag's but not sure if I want to fork out $350 just for the kit to have the same issue.
Another route I've considered is a leveling kit which would add more block in the rear and spacers up front, but all the kits are 2.5" - 3" up font and 1" for the rear.
Any idea's?

I have used a set of Hellwig load pros

http://www.hellwigproducts.com/products/load-control/pro-series/

with great results. I put waaaay too much weight on my 250, like 3,000 lb hitch weight 5th wheel, and only dropped the rear about 2 inches total, from unloaded to loaded... I dont use them any more, as the 250 is more of a play toy than a hauler... LOL and I have the 350 with overloads when I need to pull...

Where are you located? I think when I bought them, they were 250 ish. I don't know what they go for today. 100 bucks, plus the ride. unless you are on one of my routes, then I could just drop em off to ya for nothing.

This is a pic of my 40 foot 5th wheel, 3 axle, over 3 k hitch weight rv hooked to the 250. at the time, she had 2 inch level up front and 3 inch over stock in the rear. Still has a taller ride in the rear with all that on it. And due to the way it attaches when no load is present, the ride is still like factory...
