Need help with removing rear blocks on f250 2wd...

Hey guys this is gonna be a newbie type of question, as I just bought my first powerstroke, but I am planning on removing the factory rear blocks from my 2006 f250 2wd. I wish to have my truck level without going up or spending much money. I want to remove these blocks that seem to be about 2in in height. Need help on the how to.

Lift truck by frame, let axle droop, support axle, loosen/remove u bolts, remove blocks, press axle up into leaf springs and install new u bolts...
