New clutch

Ok question for the manual transmission guru's. Just had a south bend 3850 installed today and the pedal is near the floor for engagement and disengagement. Is this normal for the amount of pressure plate? Also when I take off in 1st gear the clutch makes a squealing sound. I know there is a break in period, wondering if the squeal will go away after the break in time. As always thanks all for the input. By the way it is a 2008 zf6. Forgot to mention the master and slave were replaced a year ago.

If I'm not mistaken the 3850 is the dual disk right? If so my Kenny's dual disk squeals a little when the clutch is engaging. Especially if I'm leaving from a dead stop going up hill. As far as the pedal goes maybe someone else can chime in.

Yes it is a dual disc.
