I love the look of semi wheels on a dually and plus the miles you can get is a major plus!! So what's everyone's opinions of them? Do you need a lift for 22.5s? How much lift for 24.5s? Who makes tires for them? Plus and minuses between 19.5 vs 22.5 vs 24.5 wheels.

Personally, I'd go w/ 19.5s to stay at or around stock height.

The Dmax at work w/ 22.5s has probably an 8" lift(I'll try to check), not sure of the tire size, but I'd think maybe a 6" lift on a SD since the chebbie wheel wells are so tight.

There is a 22.5 tire out there that equals out to a 37 a believe. On a superduty dually I believe your looking at 6-7" of lift

To run a 22.5 you'll need a low pro 255/70/22.5 that measures out at 36.7"tall. It'll clear on a stock height truck but I recommend running a leveling kit. I've ran this setup on Ford, Chevy, and Dodge and they all clear with a 2.5" leveling kit. To get a good ride air pressure is key. I ran 50psi in the rear duals and 60psi up front and had no complaints about a harsh ride.

My dually will be running them within the month as soon as I get time to work on it. I'll be running 2.5"icon coils and a 5"ouo block out back.

Any truck shop can get the tires, I've ran and will be running double coin traction tires. My last set lasted me over 100k miles and were still half tread when I sold them to buy my kr.

Damn trav-o that's almost identical to mine! I want them so bad. What tread does everyone run? I haul mud trucks so I gotta have something that's got some meat to it so I don't get stuck
