Tire and Height issue

Ok so currently I have 285.75R16 on my truck now. I have a 2in RC leveling kit on it. I want to upgrade to 20x12 Fuel Octanes and 35x12.50 tires. First off, will it fit? I have seen many guys with 35s and leveling kit so i sure it will. I figure it will rub a lot. Second, I park in a parking garage. Right now I'd say I clear it by at most 4in. If I got 35s how much would it increase my height? Im thinking about an inch, maybe two. I probably sound stupid but thought I'd ask you guys first.

Im going to say its not quite enough to clear.
I just put 315s on my truck with 4in hanger kit and I still rub the inner fender wells. I dont think my 16x10 wheels help though. I also do not think I got the full 4inches of lift because of the springs. I lost some of the lift due to the neg arch gained. I think I gained 3 inches but not enough. Supposedly 4 inches should be enough.

I have heard people claim leveling kits were enough, maybe with stock wheels...idk

I say no go. You may be able to clear a 35 with some trimming but that 12 wide wheel is gonna kill you.

You could make it work I think. Remember you'll be running a 12.5 wide tire and will run the risk of curbing your wheel.

good luck gettin into a garage. i wont take my truck in one now leveled on factory rubber.

I had to remove and cut the trim around my garage to make mine fit, clears with less than an inch now!

OP.... The 12" wide is gonna kill you unless it has one hell of an off-set. I have 315-75-16 Duratracs on a 16x10" and I had to pull the plastic fenders back to clear them, I did a 2" leveling kit plus x-code springs for 4" of lift in the front.

the OP is referring to a parking garage, like a concrete structure downtown someplace. no trim you can remove from there...

Thats not good. Im running the same tires with eagle 058 16x10. Im using a 4in pmf hanger kit and mine rub real good on the plastic inner fender well. Im hoping my new front springs will hel. If I would have known 4in was not enough, I would have got the x codes as well. Just went with v codes to replace my original springs.
Might have to order a set of x codes, same price as decent minis

Personally I love my setup. Only time it rubs now is when I have the 850# plow on the front and turning at low/slow speeds over bumps. Other than that, pulling the plastic inner fender back was easy. My truck is approx 1" shorter than most 4-4.5" "lifted" trucks.

I always go one size smaller than what "will fit" nothing more embarrassing than a loud ass tire rub when you have to make a sharp turn up on to or off of something.
