Need to get new tires for the truck and not sure what to go with. Currently have 285/75R16 on factory wheels. Currently just daily drive the truck 60 miles round trip but may start pulling a 5000 pound tractor on a trailer in the near future, so I need something what will hold up to occasional towing. Truck has sagging v codes up front with 350 block in the back. Thinking about maybe swapping springs out for x-codes up front when I have the money but not sure. Currently looking at Mickey Thompson ATZ's and the Toyo AT and MT's. What would you guys recommend for an AT or maybe a MT in this size (or maybe slightly larger if I can fit them) as the truck sits now? Thanks in advance for any info.

If you are driving a lot I wouldn't go with the MTs just because of noise. I like the look of the Toyo AT's. I believe I am going to go with those next.

toyo at2 seems to be one of the longest lasting. im running goodyear duratracs right now, look good, wearing decent, not loud on the street, good grip off-road, snow should be pretty good traction also. getting 2 more next week in the same size youre running for $225 each. same price as the last 2 i bought.

Man, those Coopers look like a good deal. Will see if my buddy can beat the Discount Tire price.

It messed up the outside of the bed. I was more posted about that than the tire delaminating.

The Coopers don't look too bad on a leveled truck.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely want to give the Coopers a try. Gotta be better than the ****e the truck came with when I bought it. Also, my boss just said he is going to take care of purchasing the tires for me. Gotta love having a boss like that even if he is quirky sometimes.

Friend of mine had the Hercules. Said the sucked in snow and they definitely wore weird and quick. Only got about a year of daily slow poke driving out of them.

I got almost 50k out of mine on my 2wd 7.3. Three northwest Ohio winters, never got stuck and no problems with ice. Still had life in them when I traded the truck in. My uncle runs them on his dually and has no problems in anything a 2wd daily driver sees. I'll be putting them on my 6.7 before winter.

Right now its between the Toyos and the Coopers. One Treaddepot, the Toyos have five stars with over 100 reviews.
