It's that time again, new transmission. Looking for a good shop that handles diesel trannys in Western Michigan. Last one was a Heavy Duty R4100 right from the Ford parts counter. I can't seem to find that option anymore. So I guess I need a rebuild.

I don't know any shops in that area, but I recommend that you get a 4R100, not an R4100. Your truck came with a 4R100, I don't know what an R4100 is.

Depending on how far you're willing to drive, Sam Wyse is in Archbold, Ohio. It's roughly 2 hours from Kalamazoo.
