Up pipe / turbo install Q:

I’m waiting for my new KC turbo to arrive

But I thought I would dry fit things up with the old turbo/new up pipes/ collector/pedestal etc.

Seems the collector is about 3/4 of an inch away from the turbo (when mounted to the pedestal)

So…
I’m assuming when you start to slowly tighten things down,
The Bellows on the up pipes Will move and give some flexibility?

Thoughts?

Well, I guess I answered my own question.

Yes.
The bellowed up pipes have enough flexibility to accommodate any fitment issues.

I was gonna say, when replacing up pipes, I always leave them loose at the exhaust manifolds and then tighten them at the turbo first. That helps immensely especially in chassis

I’ll remember that thank you.

But the plan is to install the engine with the turbo and everything already on.

PS
Nobody noticed I installed the fly wheel/ clutch/pressure plate without the aluminum spacer for the starter.

No big deal, I wanted to put Loctite on the fly wheel bolts anyway.
