Painting interior plastic?

I have a 97 CCLB project in the works right now. The truck is supposed to have a gray XLT interior but the previous Owen swapped it out for the blue XL interior out of a lower mileage truck that he was keeping. I have an active search going on for gray XL interior parts but until the are located I am considering painting the blue stuff some kind of grayish color. Has anyone had much luck doing this? Would you recommend a certain product? Any general tips are appreciated.
