2012 steering wheel radio control

Has anyone tried to add the radio control switch to a 2012 steering wheel? This one has cruise but no radio controls. It's got a blank where the switch would go but looks like its made into the steering wheel so maybe a new wheel and switch? Thanks.

Not for sure but on the 08-10 you had to get a complete wheel after that I.think it's straight forward and everything is there

Off topic but, I have a 2012 and had to buy a $200+ little box to add a new stereo does anyone know anything about this?

what all is involved in going from a 06 to the newer style steering wheel?

I am sure it is to make the steering wheel controls work, and possibly sync.

For me, I need to get a new steering wheel so the control switch will fit in the right hand control switch space. The little square is there and looks like it is just a cap but it's all one piece. I bought the switch just need the steering wheel to accept two switches. Haven't bought one yet.
