Livewire Comes on W/ Key Cycle

My livewire has started coming on with the key cyle for some reason? It doesnt do it all the time, just every now and then. What concerns me is that the only way you can turn on the livewire is by holding down the button for around 5 secs, OR when you plug it into the OBDII port, it comes on then. I know the button isnt being held down, so Im concerned that for some reason my OBDII port is dropping power for a sec when cycling the key or something is happening with the power to cause this to happen? :shrug:

yes-this confused me at first as well with my livewire TS. if you turn the unit on with the button and drive the truck, when you shut the truck down at night, the unit will stay lit for a little bit and then go into a kind of hibernate mode. a blue light on the side of my tuner stays on. When you start the truck up again in the morning, it will power up again to whatever readout you had selected the last time the truck was running. i hope this helps.
