Front axle shaft play, whats normal?

Ive had this problem with my front end making a noise when turning also the it feals like the driver side wheel wabbles at full turn just a bit. ive searched and it sounds like it might be the bearings? I got under the truck and tried to shake the driver side axle shafts at the ujoint and their is a llittle play but when i checked the passenger side, I could get about an 1/8 of an inch side to side and up and down..feels like to much but i didnt think that side was my problem..how much play should their be? Thanks

Took the driver side apart and couldnt find anything wrong with the bearing so i just regreased everything and put it all back together..gonna take the passengerside apart this weekend.
