How do I get the tension off the serp belt to reinstall the Alternator? Does anybody have an experience with the Powerstroke tool? Thx

I just pull the belt from the top and release it once its in place over the pulley...but it is a workout

If you just take the cover that covers the alt pulley off the shroud(it snaps in place) you can just use a breaker bar.

That's all I've ever done, maybe use a 3" extension to make it easier to get in there, and a cheater bar on the breaker bar, makes it pretty easy.
