I'm putting the 50gal titan tank in over the weekend.
Last time I was at the dealer they couldn't get IDS to talk to my truck. Some sort of error saying that PCM serial number xxx doesn't match xxx (xxx being the same in both cases.) Idiot error, but it's what it was.
H&S was still in business back then, but it was pretty close to their end. They were unable to solve the problem. After paying a 4hr bill at Ford I left with no changes.
So I know that taking it in to Ford to have them update the computer to the 50gal tank is a waste of time.
If it matters, the truck has a minimax w/ the latest MM software and now is sporting Gearhead tunes.
Next week I'm traveling from the Greenville SC area to Sandusky OH, are any of you aftermarket shops on the way I could stop by and have the computer updated?
